Joshua began his career at the Inland Real Estate Corporation, a Real Estate Investment Trust ("REIT") based in Oak Brook, Illinois which owns and manages neighborhood and community retail centers located primarily in the Midwest. Inland currently owns interests in and manages 144 properties in fourteen states, with approximately 14.5 million square feet of real estate totaling $1.8 billion in asset acquisition value.
At Inland, Joshua worked principally in the area of deal syndication through REITS and partnerships. Joshua was responsible for acquisition analysis, investor communications, and strategic exits, and worked on transactions ranging from “plain vanilla” triple-net retail (NNN) to tenant-in-common (“TIC”) 1031 tax deferred structuring. After Inland, Joshua spent several years in corporate finance at Kraft Foods where he gained broader operations and corporate strategy expertise. Returning to the irresistible draw of his passion for real estate, he joined the Plymouth Group with an eye on expanding its operational capabilities, and continually widens the reach of the firm's vision.
Over the past decade, Joshua has become an expert in New York City Zoning Regulation, identifying target acquisitions that represent an unnoticed or misunderstood opportunities. He has used his unique expertise and knowledge to drive value for multiple projects throughout the Five Boroughs of New York City and select markets nationally.
