As a focused group of entrepreneurs, the principals of Plymouth have been involved in start-up business' across a multitude of industries in various capacities. On a select basis, Plymouth originates and/or participates in angel/seed and early stage investments in promising young companies.
Our targeted investment focus is primarily in the areas of manufacturing, biotech, energy, logistics, mobile-technology and media. We are active capital and look to add value outside of our balance sheet. At Plymouth, we have helped to incubate, grow and scale portfolio companies by leveraging the value of our own experiences (and access to our vast professional networks) to foster growth and avoid many of the pitfalls of reinventing the wheel unnecessarily.
